Battery Box
The battery box floor was rusted at the rear. I decided it would be neater to replace the whole bottom floor of the battery box instead of trying to patch it.
The section to be replaced was marked and then cut out using an angle grinder. A lip was left around the edge.
A piece of sheet steel was then cut to fit from the inside. The steel was tack welded in place. The joins were then sealed with rubberised seam sealer.
All the bitumin based underseal was then removed from the rear of the car and it was then painted with grey pimer.
